Thanks, all. This was the first leg of her book tour, beginning in NYC, including a few stops in Canada and Europe. I actually thought she'd be speaking and didn't realize until I got there that it was just a signing. Unlike most signings, though, she exchanged a few sentences which each individual.
Joy and Angie, her book, "Love x Style x Life," is a narrative hodge-podge of insights and tips from her experiences growing up in Corsica/France, dating, and developing her blog and business. The text is very much written in a "girlfriend" tone, and is punctuated by her illustrations and photos. She also interviewed Jenna Lyons, DVF, Emmanuelle Alt and Drew Barrymore, but the full interviews are available online.
Lisap, hmm, I didn't notice her smell specifically, alas. I wonder, is that a compliment or a critique of the modern, "French" woman? (kidding).
AJ, she was wearing a blazer-shorts combo--possibly cashmere?--which are available at Club Monaco.
