Ha! I didn't really notice much difference in the sizing because of the colour difference. Like the navy best in most outfits. I think you're good!

Easy. Navy because of it's apparent "Strength" with your coloring. And your wardrobe. I like the tweed one better with the light pants though for some reason.

Yes, seek out the Tall. Let me know if I can get it for you.

I think the navy version fits great on you and works for your coloring. The solid color will be more versatile and go with more outfits. The patterned tweed washes you out and looks a bit oversized, in my opinion.

PS, I'm a lemming too. I ordered the navy in tall L, glad I did, it's sold out now!

I prefer the navy, as a solid, it will be easier to remix, especially with prints. I used to own a striped blazer and as much as I loved it, it was much harder to style compared to my solid one's.

I also prefer the solid! The high contrast with the zippers feels right for the dramatic element in your style.

I like the navy. The fit of the navy is better than the tweed. The colour of the navy is great with your colouring. The tweed is not so great. The navy goes with your clothes.

I find the sizing at the Gap inconsistent as well. I bought a pair of pants in one size and the exact same pair in another size. The only difference was the colour.

I prefer the tweed *in general*, but as you've styled them, the navy works best.

I have to say that I prefer the navy by far. I had ordered the patterned one but returned it because I really didn't care for it. To my eye, there was too much going on with the pattern and the moto details. And I just didn't love the fabric; the pattern reminded me of that blue enamel cookware

I also prefer the navy on you, and the longer length. xo

I like them both Sveta. Very flattering. But on straight comparison, the navy gives you a slimmer, leaner look. But I really like both!!

Love the navy on you!

Thank you all so much for playing along with me!
I think I prefer the solid navy: it has a stronger vibe to it, looks dressier and somehow feels more like "me". The patterned one has a softer overall effect and looks good with light bottoms. I liked it a lot until I got navy and played with them in my closet. After much agonizing I decided that solid navy is the way to go for me.

Now there is a problem: it is not available in Tall in my size Although I am not sure that Tall Large will be a good fit either. I received a patterned one in L Tall today and it is feels too big! The body length is fine but the sleeves are too long and wide...I can order Tall Large in solid navy from US but I am afraid it will have the same problem...on the other hand the sleeve length on L regular is just right even is body length is one inch shorter. Grrr, there is no perfection in this world!
Nichole, if Large Tall in navy does not work for you let me know before you return it, OK?

Sveta, just PM me if you need any help with the "only available in the US" issue. I'm happy to order and forward things along to you.

Thank you April, you are a sweetheart!
I have US mail address now on the border which is 1h drive for me so I can always order there. It is more convenient to get it from Canadian site though as I am not sure it will work better for me in Tall (judging by some fit issues I see in L Tall in the patterned one). I think I will wait and see, I have 2 months to return this one if I need to.

Thanks again!
