I mostly wear Gap jeans in longs-- I'm 5'9" with long legs. I think for most of their longs the straight legs have a 34"+ inseam and the bootcuts will have a 35" at least. If you truly need longer than that, you'll have to buy tall. If you can get away with the longs you can go to your local store and figure out what size you are in the pant and then order them in long online-- I live closer to a Gap now so I try to do this. I do think that they run true to size (the long and leans run 1 size big for me), but what varies widely is the fabric they are made out of-- they do list percentages online, but I find some of the lighter weight denim or with more stretch I need a smaller size. All but one pair of my jeans are Gap.
