Gap legging jeans back - BBQ?

I was lured over to the Gap site with their 25% off promotion and excited to see that they have a new pair of jeggings in stock - the dress-sized jeggings; not those horrible "superstretch" ones that they had only in SML for a while.

The coupon doesn't work on denim bottoms, though. Should I still BBQ before the darned things sell out like they usually do? These jeggings are my absolute favorite thing to wear in fall/winter.

I saw those online the other day and thought of you. if you think you could do with another pair, go for it! Like you said, the promos never apply to denim bottoms, so what do you have to lose? BBQ!

well, if they're a favourite, duplication seems a no-brainer. what are the reasons against, really? not getting sale price?

I say BBQ and I am rooting that they are exactly like your old pair (you know they are famous for changing fiber percentages and cuts even though they keep the same names).

They look baggy on the model. This is disconcerting. I love my gap jeggings but these don't look exactly the same.

Hm, that is true, Heather and Rita. Mebbe I will also try a pair of the ON Rockstars, which *are* on sale. I can return either one or both. I wish stores would just stick with an item when they have clearly hit it out of the park!

Rae, I still haven't figured out what the difference between jean leggings and skinnies are. These only have 2% spandex and while I wouldn't call them baggy, they do look like a regular skinny jean to me. *scratching head*

Claire, I think the main difference is the thickness and the comfort factor. The Gap jeggings I have are thin like leggings, which lets them tuck easily into my boots. They also allow for a HUGE range of motion, just like wearing yoga pants for me. What you said about them *looking* like regular skinnies is exactly why I love them.
