Gap jeggings in true black

I am in the market for a pair of black skinny jeans/leggings. My current pair from H&M is on its last leg. I purchased them last year pretty much for the price of a pack of gum in order to experiment with the look and I have definitely worn them enough times to justify the purchase. Now I have to wash them after each wear and even then by the end of the day they look no tighter than a pair of yoga pants. Time to move on and invest in a quality pair.

Does anybody own the Gap leggings in true black?

Do they have a lot of give? Are they TTS? Most importantly, do they last?

I will check them out next week in stores but I want to make sure that they are of good quality and will last a while. And if anyone is interested, here is a coupon for next week:

I have the Gap stirrup denim leggings in true black. I wore them twice and washed them once and they are perfect. Didn't bag as far as I could notice (I wore them tucked into my OTK boots, so I think I would have noticed bagging around the knees) and I would say they were true to size. I usually size up in leggings so they don't look like my second skin, but my normal size was perfect in these. Can't tell you if they last, since I'ev only had them about 3 weeks, but they didn't do any abnormal shrinking/changing even after going through the washing machine....good luck Bella!

I don't know about the gap one's but I recently picked up a pair of black skinny jeans from Target. The premium denim line they have. They are tight enough to tuck into boots but also have scrunch to wear with flats.

I have them! I agree with Srujana. Originally I bought them one size down, thinking they will stretch with use. It is not the case. I gave those to my daughter and bought my normal size. They are TTS. I find them a little high waisted but they are not unflattering. Also, it looks like these might not be fading as quickly, due to the lesser cotton content.
If you want a higher discount, Gap has been running a 40% ( or 45% with Gap card) sale every Wednesday and now Thursday.You can ask for a coupon booklet at any store, during the first week of the month.

Hi Bella, I have these in my normal size. A salesperson told me they are stretching more than the denim version, but I haven't found that to be the case when compared to my blue denim jeggings from Gap.
