I swung by the Gap today and found some to try on. The short in my usual size seemed to fit fine. (Good to know Janet that they don’t bag out).
I really, really liked them but did not buy them. They were super soft and the high rise was surprisingly comfortable. Still, I hesitated because I think my heart belongs to boot cuts and these were maybe a bit too wide (I think they are wider than the photo). I’m 5’4” on a good day and I felt they overwhelmed me. Perhaps my eyes haven’t adjusted yet to a wider pant leg.
Still thinking about it but I think I’d prefer bootcuts and will probably search those out instead.
