Over the last year, I stopped wearing skinnies almost completely - aside from the BR cream slouchy skinnies, that is. I have switched to wearing GAP real straight jeans almost exclusively, either with flats or tucked into moto boots. As the winter is nearing the end (I hope!), I realized that my straight jeans have shrunk considerably, making them too short for flats (but still OK tucked into boots). I will probably order another pair of the same jeans when they go on sale but in the meantime I decided to try out something different - curvy skinnies from GAP in indigo wash.

I think that my eye got adjusted to straight pants so I feel a bit strange about the skinnies. What do you think of this silhouette - is it still modern?

I am also trying out Cole Haan red loafers - I really like the idea of red loafers, and these are very comfortable - but is this "the" red loafer? There is another red loafer I am considering (Marc Joseph Grand St loafer, last picture) - but I have no idea what the quality is like, and the color may be too orangey and shiny.
