I liked cat print better than tea cup. Tea cup is very regularly spaced but this cat print looks more abstract from the distance and then close up you get a surprise.
I saw it today! Tried it on immediately, but something about the cut and where it hit on me made it feel like a pajama shirt. It is a nice, light cotton, though - great for summer and breathable. Definitely worth trying it on!
Oh Sveta! How did I miss your thread? I love your combinations of the navy with the black, white and taupe. I am really tempted - I would have never known that your blouse had cats on it if you had not told me. You're right - it looks like an abstract print! So cool!
Oh my goodness, that shirt is amazing. I'm pretty petite - do you think sizing down into like an XSP or 00P or something would help with the pajama-top-ness? I'm sometimes XXS anyway, it likely wouldn't be a stretch. Or is it just boxy with a true-to-size fit through the shoulders?
I have bought it a couple of weeks ago and already worn twice (need to post those outfits).
Diana, the cotton is soft, it has a bit of satin-y finish to it. It is a bit long though, but that works great for me.
I ordered the teacups in red, and have seen the cat print irl. It's sweet!
I suspect the teacups will go back if it looks too whimsical - I don't do whimsy. That said, if I ever found anything with Yorkies on it - I would try very hard to make it work.
That is adorable. I have a crazy penchant for clothing and accessories with animals on it. It is strange, because it is not really my style, but I buy it nonetheless!
Oh, thanks Angie! I just felt like I couldn't fit it into my style. Would this look ok with my slouchy rolled khakis for spring and summer? I just didn't feel very knightly in it, but maybe properly styled I would.
Ceit, something about it pulled at your heart strings. Explore that a little. Pop it on with your slouchy skinnies and boots first of all. It is a departure from your usual look, but Sci fi Urban Knights *can* wear bright shirts when temperatures rise! If you had been wearing a pink floral blouse with flutter sleeves - I'd have suggested passing it along to Diana. But a shirt is androgynous - that's why I love them myself.
It does -- thank you. It is one of my perfect reds and I LOVE tea and I liked how the white teacups matched my glasses. I will experiment a bit more it might just be I haven't sorted out what a spring/summer knight wears yet!
I love both the cat print and the teacups: abstract from far off and so deliciously charming when you get closer. I loved Sveta's outfit and I also love the red shirt on you, Ceit, I bet you can make it work for your style;-)

I am loving these.... I already have another kitty print so I may look into the tea cups in red and white. Would this fill my need for a pokadot neutral or white go with everything blouse? No....man I get side tracked easily.
For those that are saying they are too whimsical... Pish-a......not whimsical enough;-)
