Gap boyfriend bandwagon?k/r?

I just picked up a pair of sexy boyfriend jeans in my regular size (pic 1). Pic 2 is one size up. I didn't like the roomier for but thought I would post them since so many people are on the fence about these.

I'm a petite apple and these are the regular length. #3 is my regular size unrolled for an idea of length.

I wish they were a little less distressed.

What do y'all think?

Thank you for posting these Traci - I'm one of the ones thinking of checking these jeans out. i actually really like the length both rolled and unrolled. I think it gives the jeans some versatility. It's a little bit difficult to tell fit because of the darkness of the photos but #1 looks like they fit you very well.

I like #1, too, Traci, although I'm not a fan of the distressed look on these -- sometimes it works, but here it looks like they've just bleached the fronts. It probably is more evident in photos. Gap probably does different washes, I imagine.

I vote for #1 for the fit but not sure about the wash. Like Shannon said, it is probably the pic.

I like the sizing in #1. I have these same jeans and just ordered a second pair because of the sale ... I LOVE the wash. It reminds me of jeans my dad used to wear. But I can see where it's not for everyone.

I have mixed reactions to the Gap BF jeans from my clients. Some love them - others don't. I think they are worth a try, though - you can always say "no thank you" after you've tried them on.

I can't really tell a difference in the photos, but they both look like they fit you. I agree with you about the wash--I think they are a bit too distressed.

Number one looks best in my opinion. I think they look good on you and rolled a little higher would be perfect.

I'm keeping them because I can remember several times recently that I've reached for these jeans and they weren't in my closet. My eye started quickly adjusting to their distressing. I'm hoping it will get even better with softening from a few wears and washes.

I like the rolled look on you. And I think the distressed look is doable. But, I understand your apprehension. If you're not 100% sure you love the jeans, I'd return them. I'm sure you don't want them just to sit in a drawer or in a closet.

Traci, Gap has a sexy BF style with back flap pockets and the distressing is much less pronounced. I prefer them by a mile just for that reason alone. Might be worth a look.
