Sharan, I think you rock it ALL. I like the XS and S in the jackets. I like the bigger and longer AND shorter and smaller in the jeans. Soooooo that's that point

If I had to choose for you:

#16 to #21 are my favourite proportions

I have a preference for:

XS Jacket. That cheeky shorter length is soooo awesome to my eye. I have a thing for short jackets. Biased!

32 Pants. The longer length and bigger size. Just so elegantly fashion forward. Very YOU. Signature volume.

That said, can't go wrong with the shorter and smaller pair of jeans. They are more practical in our wet weather. You look brilliant in those too!

Sharan, it is definitely a keeper set, no matter what size combination you choose! A teal denim set is just wow. My preference is the XS jacket with the longer, bigger jeans. First, I embrace the oversized trend. These jeans are oversized but not sloppy, and the jacket adds structure, neatness, and intentionality. I also enjoy a cuff on denim, and cuff almost all of my denim pants. The look is modern and draws the eye to your shoes. Your shoe picks are chunky enough to support the overall look. Love it!

I am learing a lot here, as I am not a pants person at all. To my untrained eyes I favor proportions in 10-13 BUT I do also see what Angie is trying to say, with the longer 32 length-would love to see the 25/32, too...LOts of work to do for a good decision but XS jacket is fab!

Very tough call but I agree with ANGIE that 16- 21 would be my favs. I like the proportions here best, and the break in the line with the cuff works really well and gives a relaxed but elegant slouch.

Glad you made a decision, Sharan! FWIW, as someone who has shopped and dressed with you many times - keeping the slouchy longer pair of jeans is bang on the money. Very sartorially honest

I see you’ve already made your decision, but I like the longer length and a less slouchy fit. Since you’re.a good sewist you might tweak the 26s a bit so they’re more fitted in the top block but remain looser in the leg. I so love the color of these pieces!

Well good on you. In the end it has to be you who is happy!
I have kept some things against forum opinion sometimes and worn them anyway! And sometimes if I photograph them again later the forum likes them!
My size does go up and down by a couple of kilos depending on time of year etc, so maybe things fit a little differently at times.
