FYI Target discontinuing some brands

If you pop into Tar-jay every now and then ('leaving no retail stone unturned') you should know that they are discontinuing the Merona line as well as the Sonia Kashuk cosmetic line. The Mossimo line is making changes...discontinuing the menswear, I believe. Source: Target Addict blog.

yes, and bringing new ones....similar to what they did last year with their kids apparel

Thanks kkards. The SK cosmetics deal had an end-date in the contract so that was its fate. I have been using one of her products for years and decided to stock up (just a little, due to expiration dates) which will give me some time to find a replacement product.

I actually think this could be refreshing, altho they are also redoing my store to look like some sort of Uniqlo knockoff and it's junky. They just brought in tall racks, lol.

Probably a good idea, I haven't found Merona to be particularly stylish for quite a few years. Maybe a new name will up the style?

Yeah, I'm pretty bummed about this - I have a lot of Merona stuff, they make great basics. Hopefully they'll keep similar items and just label them differently.

Thanks for the heads up! I'm going to run out and get some more SK makeup brushes. They are very good and you can't beat the price! I also have a SK hairbrush that I love.
