For all y'all in the Bay Area, the Talbots at Stanford Shopping Center is closing in the next couple months, and everything in the store is discounted. Today everything was at least 30% off with some of it 50% or 60%. According to my saleslady, discounts will continue to go up as the stock is depleted. They don't expect to close until after the holidays but given the crush of people today I can't imagine they'll have that much left by December. Everything is final sale, fyi.
It's a bummer since it was a nice big store and had a great selection of womens and petites as well as misses.
Here's what I bought (not a K/R since I'm stuck with them now!):

cream lace skirt, ~$40
