I have just noticed that myself. I have used it myself mostly for searching, but also to look at YLF page and all the ensembles. I find that it was all done extremely sudden with no forewarning.

I KNOW, Tanya. I don't have a substitute. All Polyvore did was replace the great DIVERSE styling tool with another designer site full of one body type, size range and price point. Obviously, they couldn't keep the business model profitable. SAD.

I know there is no similar substitute available, which is so unfortunate. Perhaps a simple set of independent photos of items to illustrate the idea of the ensemble? For so many years I have been looking forward to Friday morning to see the most recent ensemble, what a loss

Oh, no! I didn't use Polyvore myself but the Friday ensemble was one of my favourite features of this site! I will miss it enormously!

Oh, I'm bummed about the loss of Friday ensembles. I loved being able to hover over an item and see what it was. Even the food! Okay, sometimes especially the food!

When I clicked on the most recent ensemble from Friday March 30, it took me to an SSENSE page with things like a $1350 Prada nylon back pack for sale.

What are we going to do? Is there any way that YLF Finds can be made into ensemble collages?

Well that's lame. I'll be curious to see how the style blogging world changes in response to this. I'll miss the Friday Ensemble posts, and I can think of lots of other blogs that made good use of Polyvore...

That’s bad. I always looked forward to the Friday ensembles, they were a great inspiration and gave me ideas of how to wear clothes in fun ways that I would have not thought of on my own.
I hope a good alternative is found and Friday ensembles can continue.

I always found polyvore very unwieldy to use and never got into it.

I had a lot of trouble using polyvore as well. I tried many times, but always failed to accomplish what I set out to do.

Polyvore was NOT easy and user-friendly. It was quite a mare, actually. I kept on hoping they would update the software. But I was patient and made it work, and got very practiced at using the tool, nonetheless. I'd rather still have it in its bad state then not at all.
