Fuzzy sweater K/R--returned

On my way to run some errands. I'm taking this with me so I can return it if need be. I really like it but I'm not sure if it reads like a pastel Wookie or not. What do you think?

Pastel wookie...lol. I love it. It looks fab with your hair and coloring. It would be great with white jeans!

I like it on you, especially with the sleeves scrunched which takes some wookie out of it. If it's expensive I might hesitate as it's very trendy and may not last as a style. But if it was not expensive, it's a fun addition to your casual wardrobe, looks very soft and a great way to add pastel for Spring.

Perfect for today's rainy weather too.

I like the color, (and take this with a grain of salt, because I'm still learning) but I'm not crazy about the overall look on you…not sure if it is the bulky weight or the neckline. Also, I have issues with blues and blue denim.

Kelly I want to love this but am not smitten with it on you - in fact I may have tried something similar in a different color... And it just made me feel like a big fluffy block. You look happy and cozy though. I would probably live in it for the feel alone!

I totally lost it over the "pastel Wookie" reference. (Nearly spit out my coffee.) I absolutely adore the color on you but must admit that the sweater (on the whole) sort of reminds me of a soft plush toy. However, with the sleeves scrunched, it has less of that vibe.

The color looks great on you. I can't imagine anything that would actually make you look bad, but this is one of the less flattering outfits I've seen you wear. It's OK, but just too fluffy looking.

The color is great, and I think the fuzzy knit can be fun for cold spring weather, but i think with IT shape you look so much fabber in flatter knits and maybe less excess fabric right under the arms. Also, the high jewel neckline goes so straight across the shoulder line--love the V necks and scoops on you. So, overall, I don't think it will be as versatile as something else--maybe look for a similar lovely blue, though.

I just got this same sweater (I'm assuming) in the mail today. I haven't tried it on yet but I'm assuming it fits like its sister that's already in my closet. I know I'm not supposed to let price determine happiness but I say if you got this for the same great price I did, you should keep it even if you only wear it the rest of this winter or around the house. Mine fits me about the same as you except I think you might have broad shoulders which I don't. I find that the slimmer the pant, the better they look. So I say keep but I'm biased!

I am having returner's remorse about a similar sweater.

I was actually searching online last night for eyelash sweater and couldn't find anything. I returned a Karen Kane one 2 years ago because it was a little big. Boo hoo.

I actually like the style but there's something about the color that doesn't work for me. It's like the pastel with the eyelash is too much whimsy? Dunno.

I think the color looks great on you but I'm not a huge fan of the style. I think what bugs me is how thick the fabric appears at the bottom. Although it sure looks like it would be fantastically comfy for lounging at home.

Thanks so much for your thoughtful replies! As much as I liked the idea of the sweater, I couldn't really figure out my window of wear. Loved the color but it would only work for mild spring days because it was too bulky to layer under any kind of jacket or coat. It also made me feel a little on the gigantic side which didn't bother me as much as DD saying "it looks kind of Tumblr but don't wear it if you are going to be around me." LOL!
