Fuschia blazer is here! (and a few other K/R)

The fuschia blazer is FINALLY here!! I have no idea how a blazer is "supposed" to fit, so please have a look at these pics of me wearing it open and closed and let me know if the fit is good. JC Penney's website mentioned that this brand runs slim.

I also picked up an orange turtleneck at my favorite consignment shop. I'm wearing it with a pair of trousers that I'm considering as a replacement for my dark blue ones that used to be PPL until I put them in the dryer. Does the t-neck fit okay? How about the trousers?

I would have liked to style these items up a bit, but Hubby was napping and I couldn't use the full-length mirror to play dress-up.

The blazer looks like it fits you well! The sleeves look long enough, you can button it and it looks comfortable. I love the color! If it's comfy, keep it!! I could see wearing that alot.

Oh nice blazer! It looks like it fits in the shoulders, the sleeves are long enough and you can button it, so that part checks out. Try it on with skirts if you mean to wear it with them, too. I love it with jeans, though. Orange turtleneck looks great; I love these bright colors on you! Make sure you accent that tiny waist of yours. *jealous*

The fit and color of the blazer and turtleneck look great. And totally agree with Claire, that turtleneck really highlights your waist and your lovely figure!

The trousers look good to me.

The turtleneck fits perfectly! The blazer fits really well-- I think the only thing is that the sleeves seem a bit wide, but it's a super minor thing.

T-neck fits you to a T!

New pants seen with the orange top look like they fit really well and the length looks right for flats or maybe low heeled shoes.

Unanimous approval of the jacket and turtleneck- I'm psyched!! I'm already planning how I can work the blazer into next week's collection of pink and red ensembles.

The fuschia replaces a black blazer that just didn't feel like "me." The blazer is my first purchase from this brand, and I like the fabric and construction of it. I'll be adding a colorblocked dress from the same brand soon.

The orange t-neck replaces an oatmeal colored wool one that made me look 5 months pregnant.

So far so good on my resolution to wear more color. I guess there is a cure for the color-challenged!

Your waist is soooo tiny! Jealous me! I love the look of the blazer on you and it seems to fit very nicely. The orange turtleneck is also a great color and flatters your small waist.

I love the blazer. Does it have any funky / cool lining at the sleeve? I would roll em' up if so. I have a feeling you would be OK with going down a size but I still like it.

The turtleneck looks like a good layering or foundation piece for necklaces, scarves etc. It looks a little short at the sleeve for my taste but you can always camouflage that by scrunching the sleeves up a bit.
ETA: the trousers fit really nice for my taste, I like my clothes fitted. I find it hard to comment on PPL, without shoes on.

I say keep both the turtleneck and blazer.

I think the jacket and neck both fit well and look great on you. I was thinking the sweater was maybe a little short to wear with pants (based on Angie's post here http://youlookfab.com/2008/04/.....ver-pants/) but nobody else has mentioned that so I might be wrong.

@celia- Yes, I am hoping to try the column of denim once I find the right denim shirt. For now I've been seeing how well the blazer plays with my other wardrobe items, and it's shaping up to be a very versatile piece.
