Funny YLF moment

I was driving through a mall parking lot today and saw 3 teenage boys with their pants falling off, crotch down to the knees, waddling like ducks to keep them on.

Pre-YLF thought would have been "wow, why do they do that, they look ridiculous."

Today's thought..." Isn't that look over already? Do they think that is still the style? They look ridiculous."

Funny to me that I thought of it as dated fashion rather than statement of rebellion.

Hehe, YLF has really been rubbing off on you!

On a side note, a friend of mine's DH is a police officer, and he was very sad when this fashion started to go out of style. It was much easier to run down perps when they had to hold their pants up!

Ha ha! Peri, I thought you were going to say that instead of thinking they look ridiculous, you started analyzing their sense of style and saw how they were creating very coherent outfits with volume on volume. :^)

There are a lot of styles that I don't go for but can appreciate, especially over time. However, the low-crotch pants just look BAD. And how can you even tell if they fit right? What are the criteria? Do they use the golden mean, that the crotch should fall 3/5 of the way down their leg? Ha ha.

Peri too funny. I thankfully haven't had this trend with my son. A little low ride but nothing like a duck. When they were inching lower I told him I would low ride as well so we could be twins
