While I don't own any funnel neck jackets, I realize this dress has a funnel neck!
So here are my dilemma for this dress: it's not warm in winter.
- The fabric is a very airy lightweight cotton-blend boucle
- Short sleeves
I really want to wear it more
I could easily wear a turtleneck under it, or even one of those 90's revival mesh shirts. And I might try that. Does layering a shirt under it take way from the dress?
Have thought about trying it in the summer. But the fabric doesn't give me summer vibes. The texture feels more autumn/winter.
Wearing a jacket/sweater over it hides the beauty of the more organic or sculpted sleeve shape.
What are some ideas or thoughts on this dress? I do not at all regret buying it. It's got a gorgeous 70s/early 80s vibe that I adore.
