I vote #1 with a black cardigan and black shoes. #1 is navy right? As long as it's a dark color and you have SOME black, you do not need ALL black for a funeral. The overall look is just "dark" which you can certainly do with navy. If #1 is not navy I vote too big dress. It's not the best I've seen on you, but this is a funeral so who cares right? You can always find a simple black sheath or other dress at another time. #2 is too sexy for a funeral to my eye.

Sarah, I'm so sorry about your Grandpa.

I just read about your furbaby. I'm so sorry. I'm positive you gave him a wonderful loving home, and I'm sure the little guy had a good life. I'm so sorry.

I'm just chiming in to add another hug and sympathies on your loss... You always look perfect to me.

Sarah, I am just so sorry about the loss of your grandfather and beloved pet. I think about how blessed both you and your grandfather were to have each other for so long.
Also, how lucky your wonderful "child-cat" was to have a mom that loved it so much and was so good to it.

My sympathies.

Thank you all. Like Angie said, it's done. I feel so much better just knowing what I'll pack and not having to stress about something like this during a time like this. I wanted to get it ironed out over the weekend so I could focus these next few days on getting ready to go.
I'll wear the too-big dress, my trench (which already is void of cat hair, just have to iron it and sew on buttons), and maybe the nude pumps since they are my only closed toe pair. I'd like something more camel (and that fit me better) but I have a back up.
To travel in, I think I'll just wear skinnies, boots, and a sweater to make it easy.

Sarah, you made a good decision on packing and now you can feel confident about that and focus on your family. You will be beautiful, living tribute to your grandfather. Please let us know how the trip goes!
