It all depends on whether they look like this, or not. Sometimes LE stuff has been artfully pinned, shall we say, for the photos. I quite like them here.
I was thinking of wearing them with a drapey tee, sometimes a topper and sandals. I'm afraid they'll accentuate the tummy and do no favours for the derrière!
I think with the sandals in that photo, they look a little frumpy. A more contemporary sandal such as a gladiator with a bit of a heel would elevate the look.
I like them in the photo. I hear the advice re: need for something in footwear to jazz them up. But, I'd consider ordering these for summer indoor loungewear (not pj's) capsule due to the Tencel fabric. In airconditioning even in my home, not set arctic, I tend toward long pants for after work, but like a loose fit and thin breathable fabric.
After your initial post I went to Lands End, noticed the sale and ended up buying these linen/cotton pants in navy and white. I like pants with a drawstring.
What's interesting is that yesterday they weren't on sale, but with the sale on regular priced items they were actually a little cheaper. Anyway, we'll see.
