Well, I had to make a return today, and lo and behold, a Burberry store was directly across the street. Thought I'd pop in to try on the jackets that I posted earlier. They didn't have the #2, but they had #1. The jacket convinced me that a heavier leather can be comfortable if it's cut well, and if there are stretch panels at the side. i tried it open and closed, but the dangling flap in the former made it look really odd.
