I just got the Frye Cindy Slouch boot on 6pm for $119 (retail $298!!)

Thanks so much for that tip!! Today is my daughter's 15th birthday and she spent all fall and winter jonesing for a pair of short cowboy boots but never found the right pair at the right price in the right size. I'm going to surprise her with the Billy shorts this afternoon. They were half off at $119 and the shipping was next to nothing. It's her "coming of age" introduction to quality women's shoes. (And it doesn't hurt that she is currently in mommy's size... so if an unfortunated growth spurt comes along I'll just have to hand them down to myself... bwa ha ha... [evil laugh]...) L.

Thimbelina, I tried the Billy Shorts from 6pm and they were adorable--there's a post around here somewhere. For me, I needed to order up a half size. The toe box on these is more pointy than square and it was tight on my upper foot. I don't have wide feet--pretty average, I think. Anyway, 6pm is very good about changing your order before it ships. All of my other Frye's are TTS.

Thanks, Kelly... I think I did right by her because I have the tall Frye Campus boots which also have that narrow toe box. I'll check their return policy and see if I can have two sizes sent just to hedge my bet... L.
