Frye boots - opinions

Do you love these or hate them?? I am bidding on a pair on Ebay and have a feeling I will be outbid soon - but I'll bid higher if I think I'll get good wear out of them. I just adore blue and yellow and am thinking they'd be cute with skinnies over the winter.

For some reason I have always had mixed feelings about that style. That style has obviously been around forever and has a really retro vibe to it. The only thing I don't like is the chunkiness of the boot. That said, Frye boots are EXCELLENT quality and if these boots are your style, I say go for it! They're definitely very cool!

I like them! They strike me as a very much "they are your style or they aren't" sort of boot, though... so how much wear you get out of them will depend on whether they fit your style or not.

I could see a lot of great possibilities with them and I think if I bought them I'd wear them a lot. But I like boots a little chunky sometimes.

I love Frye boots! For myself, not so much the more western styles, but they make really nice boots (I have the Veronica Slouch and the Fiona Moc lace-ups). I admire women who can pull off the Sundance look (long flowery skirts/dresses with Frye-type boots).

I love them! I think they are a really classic style and will work if you are funky.
Frye boots are great but the inside of the boot is always a bit rough on tights and feet, you have to get used to that.

I think I may have to bid higher! I think they are just such a cool and different color - a little loud, but not too much - and I like a bit of a wider boot with skinnies. As a pear, I think they add balance.

I love Frye boots! I bought a pair of their 12R western-ish boots, and they're great quality. Unfortunately I don't wear them much so I lent them to a friend, but they're so comfortable and chic! If you love them, get them, because they'll last you forever and they're so classic. Happy bidding and good luck!
