Frumpy or Fashionable...searching for sandals

Well, maybe not fashionable...retro? My picky feet have become painful...I seem to have developed plantar fasciitis and desperately need some super comfortable shoes and sandals this summer. I saw these while browsing Zappos....what do you think?

Those are cute! A little retro in a good way.

I do like them better in the lighter colors so you don't see the white stitching as much.

I like them! I'd go with the tan or other light color; the colors look more current to my eye.
This type of post always catches my attention, as I'm fending off plantar fasciitis now, too.

Thanks for your thoughts. I think I'll try the tan ones...agree the white stitching makes the dark ones too casual. Saw some other colors on another site FYI.

I have never tried Jambus. Sadly my feet are starting to dictate my life and I suspect I will need to start trying all these new-to-me brands.

Also have a look at Naot sandals (also sold on Zappos). They are less clunky on the foot than they look in pics and they are amazingly comfortable. Expensive but they wear well and you can get replacement footbeds in many.

I have the in the pink color. I loved the mint, but it doesn't work with the rest of my wardrobe. They are super comfy.
