I simply don't believe in friday the 13th but today was a fustrating day. What happens when the day can get fustrating? That's right baby we go shopping. Not just at a regular store but, at the thrift.

While my car is in the shop today and only the Lord knows how much it will cost at $138 an hour for labor alone. Ummmmmmm. A sister (me) asked the shuttle car to drop her off at the Salvation Army which is a few blocks from her house in The Chi.

I walked around that store with a cart full of items. It was then that I saw them way up high on the shelf. I knew they were masterpieces art work. How did I know? I felt it in my spirit. I did not even know how I was going to get the Artwork home. My car was just dropped off at the Kia dealership car shop. I was not thinking at the moment I was on autopilot. (Kinda still am) oh well. These babies did not have a price tag.

I had to have the guy called from the back to get a ladder to get them down. I had to have them priced. Then I was told they were half price. I said I don't know how much my car repair would be so I set my budget at $40.
They were priced at $20 each. Wait for it..............at 1/2 price. So $20 for both. Right then my family called to pick me up from the thrift to have a drink. I mean when I was right there at the cash register.

Then while at the local Applebee's with my aunts. Oh wait for it. Then the bartender drops strawberry juice mix over my thrifted outfit and my hair. Oh man. Yes this was my Friday The 13th lol. But I'm still kinda smiling because I have 1st world problems which are small. So here are my finds a painting from 1945 Paul Colin is the artist for the Katherine Dunham piece. No artist on the other painting someone told me it is of the Massi people of Africa. If you have seen these before let me know. Who knows what my total for my car will be at labor $138. I went into the wrong profession. Lol. I'm thankful I have the money to pay for it. Let's see the mechanic said some little critter made a home in my engine and chewed through the wires.
