Free to good home: Goldenbleu Carly spat boot, Euro size 38

These are really special boots. The leather is gorgeous -- shiny patent carbon on outside lined with a smooth nude leather inside. Goldenbleu went out of business a few years ago, but they were a premium Italian maker of shoes and handbags.

Beware, the spat can cause "elephant leg" syndrome, depending on styling and leg shape.

I've only worn these twice. I can't wear these because of the heel height (approx 3"). Maybe someone else can?

Those are beautiful! I have cognac spat boots I love. I'm sure a lucky YLFer will love these.

I am infatuated with the clutch/wallet, though! Is it an open or segmented inside? (like slots for credit cards and such?) I'd be very interested in knowing where you bought it

Oh, the clutch wallet My faithful companion for over two years! It's by Hayden-Harnett, my favorite handbag line. All their bags have well thought-out pockets and things. The wallet has tons of credit card slots, bill slots, and a slip coin pocket (a bit tight) on the back.

However, HH got bought by another company and are going through reorganization right now. The wallet was one of their popular items, so I bet you could find one on eBay (like this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Indigo.....3a7a96dd77).

Cathy, wow -- I love these. I wear a 37 or 38, usually going with a 38 in boots.

Any thoughts on how they would look against a skinny calf with a non-skinny thigh?

I think this boot would work on someone with calves that aren't too skinny, or an IT whose shoulders can balance out the spats.

I see what you mean. I only have 12" calves but I do have the IT shape, so kind of a toss-up. I would love to give them a try, though -- do you still have them?
