I have the Madewell shirt in a Large-- it runs BIG, I think more like an XL. I am usually right between M and L (38" bust, broad shoulders) and went with the medium, which is still roomy. Brand new, with tags.

The other blouse is gently used. In great shape. It is a true medium. I have a 38" bust and it would fit comfortably except for my broad shoulders are causing buttons to pull. Someone with narrow shoulders or a slightly smaller bust would look smashing in it.
