Franco Sarto Holt Ankle Strap Flats; sold out for this year?

I'm very interested in the Franco Sarto Holt ankle strap flats. They are mentioned all over YLF for at least the past year, including being a top pic, and seem to come in a lot of colors. I'd love to get a pair but I get the impression they are considered a spring/summer style. Sure hope they bring them back...

I just did a quick search on Zappos, Nordstrom, Nordstrom Rack, OnlineShoes, Amazon, Macys, and Amazon and found them all sold out, not available etc.

Am I out of luck until next spring?

They are a style from last year, 2015, and yep they were a spring style. I am guessing that whatever was available this year was leftover from last year. I don't know if FS does repeats styles. like, for example, Sam Edelman does.

Thanks Tanya, good to know they are now 2 years old so perhaps less chance that they will repeat again. Will put the general style on my list for next spring

I have two pairs of these, one pair in white and the other in gold, and I adore them. I was looking to duplicate the white ones last spring but couldn't find them in my size, and it seemed like every website that had them was just selling what was left over from the year before. If you find a pair in your size, snap them up because they're one of the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned.

Hi Chris. I have the holts in two colorways. I just purchased the Sansona which is their version of it for this year. They are very similar. I have a heel in a champagne color and thought I could wear these as a change-out (commute and such) but they are turing out to be quite versatile.

Tanya, I did just look on eBay and there are a few pairs, so good idea. I would not buy shoes on Ebay unless I was looking for a duplicate of something I already have, I'm too hard to fit.

Thanks for the info on the Sansona kkards and donna. I'm not sure I like the ankle strap configuration as much as the Holt, but sounds like the Holt is no longer offered. The Sansona strap seems skewed a little more in a "maryjane" direction which is a look I don't like. I'll have to give it some thought.

Just so you don't feel too terribly left out, Chris, I tried the Holts last summer and they were AWFUL on me. Painful to wear, no matter what size I tried. Their lasts just didn't match up with my foot shape. Despite all the high recommendations, it's not a be-all, end-all shoe for everyone.

Thanks Jenn, it seems that no footwear really works for everyone, does it. We all have such different shapes and sizes of feet not to mention various structural/muscle issues. Trying on is the only way! I have found all the Franco Sartos I've ever bought to be very comfortable so these particular shoes probably would work for me.
