Franco Sarto?

Hi, can anyone opine on the last for Franco Sarto shoes? They have a teal flat, but it’s not on a site with free returns. I have a duck-shaped foot that fits in Coach, Cole Haan or Stuart Weitzman. Thanks for any background.

I haven't bought any recently, but in the past their fits worked well for me, and I found them one of my more reliable fits. I have moderate arches, slightly narrow and slightly low-volume feet, with quite narrow heels that slip out of most shoes. Cole Haan and Weitzman have worked for me in the past, so I would guess you and I have a similar fit.

I have had Franco Sarto shoes as well as the other brands you mention. I would say they are slightly wider than the others. Your heels might slip out. I have not had that problem and had narrow feet before children. I now take a medium width in most shoes, however a shoe that runs a bit narrow is good for my feet. Merrill and Vionic are other brands you might try.. Can you try the shoes that you are thinking of ordering on in a department store? I would hesitate to order shoes that could not be returned.

Thanks for the heads up on the width, I do have the problem of my heels slipping out. I will wait for another teal shoe in a more familiar brand.

I've had a good run with Franco Sarto when I size down and the shoes are long enough - (I have low volume feet). They run wider.

Maybe see if Zappos carries the one you're interested in. Even in a different color, to try.

cat2, these are the FS's I have at the moment. All US6, and not US6.5 which is what I usually wear. Euro 36.5 or 37. The quality is really good! Old shoes.

Angie, thanks. I have always loved your shoe picks. Just FYI, your rosewood color is still in limited stock. And starting with your links, it looks like I can try one of the styles I flagged at Nordstrom, which would be great. It looks like the other style is at Rack, which has reasonably priced return shipping. I will give them a spin.

I have the Sartos below. The first are leather and the second pair which is actually metallic teal is not. I have super low volume feet and a wide forefoot with bunions and tiny, tiny heels. Neither pair slips at the heels. I added a tongue pad to snug them up more, and I usually add an arch insert half sole to lift up my heel. Both pairs are extremely comfortable for me.

Thanks, everyone. I think the FS shoes are TTS for the wide of foot, and would suggest to folks looking for wider shoes with plenty of room for their arches. Unfortunately, I have duck feet and the heels are too wide.

cat2, did you size down? I have found that can work sometimes. I have VERY low volume feet.

I have the pink version of Angie’s shoes above and can vouch for their comfort. I have lower volume feet with a narrow heel and the beginning of bunions if that helps.
