I had to hem the bootcut jeans today because they're going to be part of my travel capsule. I'm going to get my two altered jackets tomorrow, so I'll do the final planning after that in the evening. I may post some more questions then.

(And I'm so happy I fit into these jeans again! I couldn't close the zipper a year ago.)

In addition to the jeans I also cut the sleeves of this button down off. This was part of my sewing pile for ages. I bought it because the shoulders, waist and hips fit perfectly, only the long sleeves were too short. I wasn't able to scrunch them properly either because they didn't have buttons and were too tight - so I thought I'd simply cut the sleeves off. The fabric is a very airy cotton stretch and more summer appropriate anyway.

I went for elbow length, although I can also still roll them up a bit. What do you think? Do both sleeve lengths work?

These colors are great on me btw, for color analysis purposes. The greyish blues and the soft white look very nice and not overwhelming and the tiny red stripes make it a bit more interesting.
