Hiya, just because I know a few fabbers were looking for affordable camis, thought I'd share - of all places, Mark's (a Canadian store known for construction and outdoor worker clothing) carries Denver Hayes camis (https://www.marks.com/en/denve.....r%5D=BLACK) and I am really pleased.
Pros:
- super-soft and lightweight, very comfy
- drape close to body without feeling clingy
- at only $15 each, they are a great bargain, especially in you need to stock up
- washer and dryer friendly
Cons:
- very simple design, so not good if you were hoping for lace or other details
- only available in black and white (going to look at other DH options in nude)
- thin - definitely underclothing but would not stand alone under a cardi or jacket, if you need it to (I don't)
- the small is just barely small enough for me, but I really could have done with an XS, which this style doesn't come in.
Just FYI for those still hunting - the Uniqlo ones (finds) looked great too but I wanted to be able to see them in hand before buying, and no Uniqlo close, sadly.
