Fossil Bag Owners: Do you remove the key?

Yay = Yes, I remove it.

Nay = No, I think it's part of the appeal and charm and leave it attached.

At first I thought "yay," since I usually remove bag tags and decorations. But then I checked my one Fossil bag and realized I'm a "Nay." I did leave the key on. I do think it adds a certain charm.

I didn't remove the key because I kind of liked it. It clinks against everything though and is starting to drive me bonkers. I was *just* thinking about removing it yesterday as it clunked against DH's new car--gasp.

I like mine, it is not as ostentatious as the MK fobbles which I remove.

modgrl....I feel the same! MK fobs are ridiculously ostentatious...I removed mine from my recently purchased orange MK bag. But the key on Fossil is kinda cute.

I leave the key. I'm not a big fan of the key on the Key-per line, but I absolutely love the metal keys. I did buy a Fossil on sale and the key wasn't attached, so now I'm trying to figure what to use to reattach.

I removed mine. It felt like a bit much to me. But I might use it for a key fob sometime.

I don't have a Fossil bag, but my mom moved the key from the side of her satchel to the front on the keyhole. That way the bag still has the charm of the key, but it doesn't clank on things. And I agree that the MK fobs are far too blingy to keep on, and I remove those.

I tucked mine into the bag sort of accidentally and it's stayed ever since. It did clink against our new red truck whenever I'd get in or out, which I did not like, so that's why I left it tucked in. Visually, I like it and would have left it hanging if scratching up the car weren't an issue lol.

I have one Fossil bag and I love the key on it; if I got another I'd leave it on for sure. I vote nay!

On all of my fossil bags ...

1) Crossbody - didn't come with one; so none :p
2) Foldover - I moved it to the other side so it didn't clank
3) Satchel - I took it off (too big)
4) Maddox - I kept it on

50/50 for me, I guess!

I messed up. I forgot the key on mine is attached to the zipper, so it is still attached and that's fine by me. What I removed is the metal thingie (technical term) on a thin leather strap that is shaped like a keyhole. That is what I might use as a key fob.
