Forum hiccups on mobile

Hey,

I would just like to let you guys know that the forum isn't showing up properly on Samsung Android "Ice Cream Sandwich" devices. You can view the posts, but you can't add a new one or edit written entries.

Wouldn't a YLF mobile app be... fab?

Thanks jurocha. We will look into that as we make improvements to the new YLF on mobile devices (which coincidentally is currently my focus).

BTW, there is a YLF app for iPhone and Android, but it currently only applies to urgent topics in the forum. We also have a new version of the app that extends it to all categories of posts and will release that after the work on the mobile version of the website.

I didn't know about the app (those lurkers... come, ask questions and they do not even do a decent research first... Hehehe); I will search for it on the Play Store. Thanks, Greg!

Hey, Greg. More hiccups and again I am just reporting for the chance you aren't yet aware of them.

I downloaded the app and it works great. Sometimes it shows the HTML commands (like spacing and paragraph commands) when you choose to edit a post. If you don't erase them, they are shown as regular typograph on the updated post (p or &snb) and are no longer effective as commands (the paragraph disappears). It is not really bad and it doesn't bother me... (so, really, just registering!)

What is annoying is the mobile access to the forum. I also can't see the pics posted on entries when I am on mobile. It takes forever to load in the pop-up like style and when it does, it force close the window/post.

The HTML commands appearing in the app is something we will fix. Thanks for pointing that out.

Regarding the last part about viewing pictures... am I correct that in this case you're referring to viewing the website?
