After my amazing first YLF meet-up this past weekend in Orange County, CA., and grabbing the perfect size of orange jeans from Zara, I had to share this photo from J. Crew that I took today when I returned a shirt. I love the denim shirt with the pearls and thought some of you may, too. Since I already have the shirt and the pearls, I'm ready to go and it was an easy deal, because I was able to SMC (after the Zara stop with my YLF friends).

Wow, I really love this look. And I also have a denim shirt and pearls...but I'm also on SYC through the end of the year. Let's hope this trend holds through spring! Thanks for sharing. Can't wait to see your own version.

Vicki you have to post the outfit. Will you wear your animal print booties? The Zara colored jeans seem quite fab. Karen got some at the Melbourne meet recently and she loves them.

Vicki, I am starting to wish I had at least tried these on when we were at Zara. I don't see them on their website. When I got home everything in my closet looked so.....well.....basic. Since I'm not wearing a lot of color on my top half, most of my neutral tops/jackets/sweaters would (amazingly) go with the orange. While orange isn't my best color, I could certainly wear it on the bottom half, and the softness of the color is in keeping with my palette, unlike the bright red jeans that are trending right now.
Did the color of the JCrew jeans look as soft as your Zara ones?

Oh, and get thee to thy camera to post your own pics!

I can definitely see you in this outfit, Vicki! I've worn something similar with my red jeans, colorful jeans look so awesome with chambray tops! If you do the black belt like in this look, I think black booties/flats would really look adorable.
