Fall weather has me excited for ankle booties and I wanted to share a $12 item that changed my life last year!

I wear a TON of flats and also don't like wearing socks with my ankle booties. While socks made for flats work sometimes, I find them uncomfortable for the entire day.

If you want a quick fix and want to save the soles of your shoes, I highly recommend these terry insoles. They add extra comfort and are machine washable - perfect for flats and ankle booties. Just wanted to share the tip with everyone!

Thanks for sharing! I also go sockless as often as possible Usually I use little foam inserts and then replace them as necessary, but I like the idea of something washable. So you cut them down to size like the normal foam inserts yes?

Yep - exactly! They have 3 different cut lines on them so you can cut them to size for your shoes. They're easy to position and don't slide around.

I'd not heard of terry insoles but was thinking of trying some fleece liners.
I also use Smart Wool low socks that don't show.

Great share. Thanks! I hate having my feet covered. If you see me in socks you know it's cold / winter.

A great solution, thanks for sharing. Those terry insoles sound like they would be thin and comfortable and would keep my feet from sticking. To keep my feet from sticking in shoes, I use a bit of Gold Bond foot powder (or the drugstore brand is fine too). I sometimes wear those "no show" peds, but they always seem to show, and some shoe inserts are so thick that they make the shoes uncomfortable. These sound great, I will give them a try!
