As for size, it seems like almost everyone that tried these were in between sizes. I would get your usual size and a size up and just return the one that doesn't fit. I think I could really have gone either way, but I ended up with the smaller size because I could not find a 4. If you are more pear-shaped or have fuller hips, I think you're more likely to size up.

HUGE thanks to Maya for the info on Club Monaco stores in New York. I called the Soho store, and they still had a size 4 and 6, which were my best guesses for what I wear. I went down there this afternoon and bought the size 4. (The 6s were clearly too big.)

But these ones might be too snug. What do you think about the fit? I get some folds around my butt.

Maya, you are awesome! Thanks for posting the info. Its been so hectic at work, I only have enough time to skim through all new posts.

I think they look great and I'm glad I played a part in their greatness When I went there wasn't a 4 so I guess someone made a return. How fortuitous! It is all meant to be, I swear. If I saw the 4's there and tried them on, I probably would have bought them instead of the 2's. A bad idea on two levels: 1) the 4's would have been too big for me, and 2) you wouldn't have found them. I got those other pants by mistake so I could find out that the 4's were the wrong size for me. It is shopping destiny.

Medusa! They look GREAT on you!!! It's such fun seeing the same pants on so many different people! I can't wait for my own set to arrive from the lovely niva!!!!

I'm wondering if I should have gone down to the 8 though, since most people are going for the more fitted option. Oh well!!! I'm curious, did anyone keep 2 sizes for days when you feel bigger/smaller. At $9 - why not!!!!
