For Sveta (and others): Angie's Gap sweater in ivory and navy

First, let me start off by saying how wonderful each of you are! There's something indescribable about this community and I just want to say thanks for the warm fuzzies I get from your goodwill and loving kindness. On to shopping!

Sveta, here are some photos I took at the Gap over two days to show you the fit and color of the soft, warm and elegant sweater Angie wore for her holiday blog post. I did end up buying them in regular XS and I still have the tags on and will likely rip them off pronto. 1-2 Ivory Gap sweater, regular XS
3-5 What I wore to South Coast Plaza: J. Crew navy schoolboy blazer, Ann Taylor navy-white striped tee (bought a bunch in solids as they are so comfortable), orange Zara skinnies with zippered ankles, old navy-gold print scarf, Sam Edelman python booties (it's hard to get me out of these!), orange-fuchsia Melie Bianco purse
6-7 Navy Gap sweater, regular XS
8-9 Sweater Mission Accomplished. Driving home. Note determined, satisfied look.

Where to start - LOVE the gap sweater on you in both colours! Hopefully you are keeping both. Orange skinnies - fantastic. Also the scarf in the last photos - great colours!

How do you find the Sam Edelman booties fit you? Did you order your regular size? Usually in boots and booties I take a 7 but sometimes a 6.5. I can't find any 7s left but am too scared to order 6.5 in case they wouldn't work....

Thanks! pil, Glory and Nancylee, those orange jeans have become one of my favorites and go so well with navy or cream. Joy, what size and color did you get? Debbie and Joy, I look forward to your WIWs, my sweater sisters! Suz, that's a tough one on the boots. I'm a 7-1/2 and they have a "little" bit of "play," meaning I can wear a slightly thicker sock, but not too thick, if that makes sense. Do they not have your size at Nordstrom? Is there any other outlet, like Zappos?

Vicki, you look delightful in all of these pictures! I love the Gap sweaters on you, adore the orange skinnies and navy blue blazer, and am even drooling over the drive-home scarf! I received my sweater in the cream color yesterday evening and love it. Thank you, Angie! I went up to an XL; I normally wear a L in Gap tops. I'm so glad I sized up - it looks a lot like the way Angie styled it and is perfect over skinnies. I haven't been feeling well lately (hence my absence), but I'll try to get a picture up - once my Wit & Wisdom brocade skinnies get here, too.

In the car and will post later, and wanted to see if you think I should try a Small, Angie? Easy enough to do since the tags are still on. I was a tad concerned about the sleeve length, but I do like the way they overhang on my hands. Will check out the Small.

Vicki you are a trooper for trying these on for us and snapping all these photos, thank you! I love both the ivory and navy on you, and I too would love to see you in the next size up (I bought the ivory one and love the slouchy, relaxed vibe).

And can I just say that your shopping outfit is absolutely divine!! Your attention to detail is amazing (and those orange skinnies were made for you): the striped top paired with the patterned scarf (gorgeous colours on you), then the pattern and colour mixing with the booties, and a subtle hint of fuchsia in the strap of your bag. LOVE it!

Oh, forgot to say: the sleeves are indeed quite long on this pullover, but I don't mind that really, I plan to scrunch:-) Plus it keeps my hands warm outside.

Thanks for posting the pictures for me (and others), you are a sweetie! I would also get one size up in the sweater, at least try it on and compare?
Cream is smashing on you and navy looks pretty good too but I think you wear blue in general really well. For me dark blue should be really saturated or has some shine to it, otherwise it washes me out so I passed on the navy.
Actually my cream sweater arrived today and I will be posting pis soon!
