For Suz and others: Summer top with high neckline

Last week I saw this 100% linen sleeveless top at Zara. I thought it could be a good option if you prefer a higher neckline, yet still want something breezy for warm weather. The quality felt quite nice, and I love the drapey silhouette, it adds a little extra interest. It's available in three colours, and I bought the turquoise one.

Suz: I have a hunch this could also work with your fab VC tube skirts? (the way you styled them in your other thread just blew me away, so fab!).

I love it, I think the neckline is fine. and the color is breezy. I liked the cool weather better, and I'm not looking forward to the hot weather.

I hear you, Pink. I am super happy we are finally enjoying milder temps here (between 18 and 23°C), but as soon as it gets really hot, I'm quite lost too. I don't do well in really hot temps, and admire the ladies on the forum who have found their signature hot weather style!

I have a couple of Zara items in my shopping cart and may just have to add that one....it's so kind of you to think of me and thank you for the lovely compliments! Also, it's always so much better when someone has seen an item in person and can vouch for quality.

Ooohhh, I'm headed to Zara at the end of the month. Inge, does this top require a cami under it? The photos make it look a bit sheer. I have similar thin tops, but I like to buy them in black so that I won't have to worry about a second layer.

My pleasure, Suz. I hope the top will work for you. I'm a little shy about my arms and was planning to wear this for working at home only, so not sure yet if I'm brave enough to post a picture:-)

AJ, it is a little sheer indeed. Not super transparent, so I personally wouldn't wear a cami underneath the turquoise top, but you may see a hint of bra coming through. I didn't try on the white version, I suspect the sheerness might be more obvious there?
