I couldn't figure out how to add a pic to the thread on YLF twins, so I started one so Suz could see our similarities. We are also short hair sisters! This is a very plain look, not as fab as I wanted my first WIW to be, but it does give you an idea of my body type and now you can put a face to the name:)

Congrats on your first WIW! It's always a huge step to take. The colour of your top is beautiful with your skin and hair colouring and the fit of both your top and your pants is perfect. Pretty darned good I'd say!

Joy, the lady with the perfect hair! You speak of children admiring your shiny buttons, are you a teacher? If you had been my teacher I KNOW i would have admired you all day long! I had a grade 7 teacher that had perfect hair and she always dressed well and I took it all in.

Congrats on your first WIW, Tina. It's a big step but ever so worth it. I think you've made excellent choices in your outfit. Both pieces fit you so well and showcase your long, slender line. Wow, thank you all for the welcome and the flattery. I feel as though the picture misrepresents me. I have never thought of elegant, and willowy has not crossed my mind when I think of words to describe me/my style.
Suz, I did not know this was a favorite color of yours but come to think of it, your lovely winter coat is much this color. I am excited to have someone to look to for reference and I greatly admire your style. Yours is more exciting than mine but I know I will learn much here.
Just a note, I do dress to accomodate for being a caregiver. I have a 6 year old daughter with cerebral palsy and she does not walk. She is very tiny and not very heavy but it does make a difference in the way I dress at times. She is completely "normal" in the cognitive sense but because of her spasticity in her lower body she has limited ability to help herself. She does walk with a theraputic walker and she does very well. That's maybe TMI but I say that for 2 reasons: 1) there are some styles that are not practical for me (I haven't given up on heels though) 2) there may be someone on this forum that can relate, I would love to know.

Oh, Tina! What a big and important job you are doing! When I taught in the high schools, I had several students who had CP in my classes, so I know some of what you are talking about. My daughter also has some special needs, but not physical ones; however, I can definitely understand why you would need to dress for comfort and mobility first of all.

I can also understand why YLF might be a wonderful break from the day's efforts. So glad you have joined the conversation.
