I am glad we have so many jeans silhouettes to choose from!!
I have lots of different silhouettes.
1. Legging jeans (DL1061 and Bleulab reversible)
2. Regular skinnies (which in this case have become slightly slouchy because they bag out on me - my Kut Dianas in white.)
3. Slouchy skinnies (Banana Republic Heritage)
4. Boot cut. (Gap Long and Lean)
5. Super slouchy BF jean (from Gap)
I wear my bootcuts the least. Maybe once every month on average, but only in the spring and fall.
I liked my super slouchy BF in the late summer/ early fall. I will probably also enjoy them in the spring. They're a lighter wash, which is part of the reason -- also, they are softer and not as warm.
I know I *could* wear the white Dianas in the winter, but honestly, around here it is tough to find a weather-appropriate day. I can tuck them into boots and might try that.
Legging jeans: I am pretty tired of these and feel they are too body con for my current style preferences. However, tucked into boots they are my best bet in slushy cold weather. So I expect I will keep them for winter months.
Hands down, my absolute FAVOURITE jeans are my distressed slouchy skinnies -- the jeans I almost purged and feared for a while to show the ladies at YLF because I thought they would tell me they are not age appropriate and are too baggy in the bum!
I love these jeans because they are 100% cotton with no stretch. They are slim but not "grabby" on my calves. They slouch.
Angie, I think I do have to order a pair of those Camerons don't I. For all I know, they are not going to have the 100% cotton ones for long. They are a LOT of money. But I want a pair that are not so distressed....the distressing on my BRs is fun, but there are times when you want to look a bit more polished in jeans.
