For Shiny- dark skinnies without visible stitching

Hey Shiny, I have just stubled upon these:

I don't remember all of your requirements you posted on some thread a while ago nor which thread it was, what stuck with me was 9 inch rise and stitching in the same color as jeans. These are 14" leg opening, and I beleive 12" exist as well.
I know that you do not like J Brand too much, but the material on these is supposed to be somewhat different from the usual one.

I did receive the ones from Net-a-porter, been meaning to take a photo for YLF... I am not sure about them, but I have to make up my mind this weekend.

The rise is higher than advertised - more like 9.5-10 inches - covers my belly button. They do fit perfectly though! But I'm also not sure about the wash; it's more casual, with fading. That's really not my look, I think.

I do like the width of the legs - perfect for cuffing. I've always wanted to do that wide-cuff thing that looks so cute on other people!! The denim is very nice and lightweight - I like the way it feels.

But I suspect that I will return them. I would probably keep them and explore the whole "high-waisted" trend, if only the denim was darker. Or, if the rise wasn't so high, I might keep them and wear them rolled with a wide cuff this summer. I guess I just don't like the combo of the two for some reason.

One thing I know, Earnest Sewn is a good brand for me. Seems to be cut narrow in the hips and good for my flat butt (er, positive thinking: "tiny" butt).

I think I just need to get into the store and try on lots of pairs again. But since summer is on its way, I'm not feeling quite as motivated to hunt down skinnies just yet.

Hmm... but then again, if I return these, then I could probably justify ordering the JBrands and giving it one last shot... hmmmm....

One more question... I can't remember what size I took in the JBrand's I tried on in the past!

I have this feeling they ran smaller - is that true, Tanya? I think I may have needed a 26 instead of a 25. Or I have that backward,and they run larger so I definetly took a 25?

Hmm, I actually don't know Shiny,sorry I've never had J Brands. I did order the same model in white(27) that I should get in about a week, so I'll let you know then if it's not too late.

Thanks for the info Tanya and finding those (even though it was for Shiny)! I really like these, and I have those on my short list of "possible skinnies" to buy. I like a higher rise skinny, and they seem harder to find.
