Hi Rae!

When the TX YLF contingent was out on Saturday, we visited Madewell. There was a "pop-up" vintage store there--basically two or three racks of clothes and some accessories right near the front door. There were two ladies who were selling the clothes. None of it was associated with Madewell (I bought a skirt and had to buy it directly from the two ladies as a separate transaction). The clothes were pretty inexpensive and I don't know how "vintage" they really were (that didn't really matter to me anyway). I suspect they just comb thrift stores and handpick items for their pop-up shop. They don't have a brick and mortar store, they just go to different shops and sell their stuff out of the store for a day. The sizes are random, but the selection was all things that would probably appeal to a Madewell customer. I imagine they probably have to give Madewell some kind of cut or pay a fee, but it's probably cheaper than maintaining an actual location. They had customers sign up for e-mails that would notify them where the next pop-up store would be. Anyway, just a thought, since I know you have already done something along these lines.
