Here are a few shots of my funky vest. I just threw it on over a white shirt so the details of the vest show up better; not sure I would style it quite like this It's pretty cool -- you can wear it reversed or pin the ends up however you like (right now I have one corner pinned near my collarbone with a big safety pin).
This piece was a sample the designer made for a recent show. Last time I was in her shop (Red Square) she had a few other samples made of different fabrics.
