Keep or return! GAH! I forgot about this ASOS order, which took 4 weeks to get here!

Actually, I'm pretty sure I'm keeping these Kookai jeans, which are supersoft and fit perfectly, even though I think I have a picture of me wearing these exact jeans from 1984.

I pulled back my hair to give a full view of the jacket. Angie posted it, and it finally went on sale to a price point I was willing to try.

would it be dotty to pair the jacket with the leggings??? I like them both a lot! I had dot leggings back in early 90's myself. Can't seem to break into the florals. Seems I just got rid of all mine in the last 3 years lol.

It's pretty easy to send husbands over the edge with fashion apparently - it only took bright blue jeans to do that to mine tonight. Yours must be better acclimated lol.

That jacket is gorgeous! I actually like those polka dot pants on you and normally I am way to conservative in my dress to like bold prints on pants. They look GREAT on you! Oh...and by the way, I so don't believe you when you say you are "done"!

I love everything! I can't pick a favorite. Maybe we need a board for the husbands to commiserate about the "crazy" things that their wives wear. Also, I agree with Meridith about not believing you! haha

LOVE the jeans! Fit, style, and sinker.

I am ambivalent on the jacket. I love the colors and print, but the peter pan collar is not my favorite and the sleeves are an awkward length - not quite 3/4 and not quite full. You could shorten them to fix that, though. I guess it just looks a little more prim and ladylike than I am used to on you. Over a white tee and your slouchy boyfriend jeans, it might work.

I will be nervous exchanging glances with the husbands re: the dotty pants, so I'll leave those to the rest of the forum.

Love the jacket but want some black on bottom to balance it (maybe the shoes you would wear?). I see the jeans with flats. Not sure about the dotty leggings because they seem sort of loose for leggings and can't really tell how the material looks from the picture, but imagine I could be convinced.

OMG. I love the dotty jacket and leggings. You know I am crazy about polka dots! For a minute I was thinking "I need to get a pair of those dot leggings too!" but then I realized I still have a lot of desensitizing work to do on DH to get him to that stage! That jacket is too fab!!! You have to wear it with the leggings!

The grey floral jeans fit you well, but I am just wondering if they're a bit too subdued for you. I can barely see the pattern--it just looks like dark grey splotches (like the pants got dirty) and the grey is so light. I vote pass--the dotty leggings are so much cooler!

Oh and PS is that a Missoni for Target suitcase?

SO interesting to read the replies and to hear Angie weigh in. I actually love the leggings but see what she means about taking them out of the house; looking closely I can imagine that the fabrication is quite soft? In that case, I would keep them as lounge wear because they will look fantastic with that red hoodie you have and you'll feel fashion forward even when you are curled up with Kona. Because they are SO cute and mood-uplifting.

I love both other pieces. I see what Rae is saying about the jacket...the collar and sleeves make it a bit Jackie O for you, but I think scrunching the sleeves and the way you wear it with other stuff will make all the difference. And it will also work as a topper for dressier outfits. For that black dress you are taking to the wedding, for example? Not sure it would work with the Tadashi; don't think so.

You know I love dots but maybe not these dots.... sorry! I'm not so key on the jacket either. It is like too structured and shiny for your style. I think you could always sub a black leather jacket or your frenchi tux jacket in any outfit that you could wear this with. The floral jeans are cool though, this is a floral I can dig,it reads as gray and black
I too think I had a pair of these, not in 84 though, maybe in 86.

Take my opinion with a grain of salt, but I find the polka dot leggings just a bit on the PJ side, although they are cute and if anyone can pull them off, it's you.

I love the patterned jeans on you, and I'm envious because I want some! Please wear them for me.

The jacket, hmmm. I like it in theory -- the color, the dots are great. But the cut seems boxy and not up to your usual amazing UWP standard. Maybe styled with your tough boots, etc., it will take on a new light, but there's something a bit too proper about it.

Thanks, ladies! Interesting to se all the opinions here. Angie, you are never a mare - you're the voice of reason. I am actually planning to use these polka dot pants as loungewear, to upgrade from my horrid fleece camping gear. They may come roller-skating too - after all, they have lurex!

I'm not yet sold on the jacket as I have to find three ways to style it. It is a bit Jackie O for me, but I'm trying to build a little more interest in my professional capsule. It may still go back. For those who love it, it's very nicely made for the price!

I'm pretty sure the grey floral jeans will be staying. Natalie, I totally understand your concern on the light floral, but I think it's a good way to break into the whole floral thing for me, or if it doesn't work, they are subtle enough to wear anyway.

I love the jacket and totally think you will find ways to work it in to your wardrobe. It is gorgeous! Today I'm wearing a very ladylike black/magenta/pink tweed cropped jacket over a flowy black tank and trouser jeans, and it looks totally different and more edgy than when worn with a fitted top underneath with more formal bottoms.

I love the dotty pants for lounge wear, just love 'em!!!!

Just throwing some love for the jacket:) I ordered one for moi!
I think it would look awesome over a white silk or silk like tunic, dark wash or black skinny jeans and either red or yellow flats, as the weather gets warmer. I vote keep on the jacket. I see potential!
I'm not sure on either pair of pants but I think I have a poisoned eye for patterned pants.
