Thanks, everyone! I'm glad to see that I haven't been blinded by my love for the fit and feel of this blazer.
You're right Mo, the taupe does have a blush tint to it.
Pil, I have found my store! I've always fit well in BCBGeneration, and Max Azria fits me even better. It's crazy, it's like both blazers were made exactly to my measurements!
Suz and Sveta, the movement of the flaps doesn't bother me - what I was originally not sure about in Boston was that the flaps add volume to my trouble spot - my belly. But I am at peace with that, mostly because when in BCBG in Boston, I asked Angie if it made my belly look bigger and she replied, "No! What belly?" Now we all know Angie has that x-ray vision and can spot an ill-fitting or non figure flattering garment from miles away. Also, the flaps are intentional, and while they add volume to the garment, it's intentional. It's not like wearing a regular blazer and turning sideways and having it look like my belly's sticking out. Or maybe the flaps actually hide my belly in the side view. Or maybe I'm just blinded by blazer love. Whateva, I'm keeping it!
