Ciao Judy! Its been awfully long since I wrote on YLF but now, being on holidays i finally had some time for myself. I read today the interview in the September Vogue with the Sartorialist himself and was intrigued by the blog run by his girlfriend/partner. Even more when I saw that she recommends the blog you yourself recommended to me! I hope you will enjoy this one, most probably you already know?

Garance is a photographer extraordinaire and humorous too. I am so glad that she is translated into English for all of us French challenged. I visit her blog regularly. I did not remember that she also has This is Naive in her links and I now realize that I have not been to that site for a while now!

It is a small internet world isn't it. My husband jokes with me that we are "trying to find the end of the internet" because each new link can link to so many.

I posted a link from another interesting site last month when we were discussing being casual yet feeling fab with kids around. Have you ever been to The Selby? http://www.theselby.com/ It is like a quirky interiors magazine. Why is it so fun to see how other people live?

What a great site! SO full of joy! I was thinking about your question and I come to the conclusion that its fun because people on the site are joyful and energetic. I don't think that these photos required less work and care than the standard "glamour" we see in the press but what shows through is that they don't take themselves so seriously.
Anytime my friends change their interior I am always asking them the same question:sure, the designer's furniture are fine, so is the black floor or high maintenance bathroom, but can you really imagine yourself on these posh sofa with your nose running, cold coming and your animals leaving the hair all over?
