Too bad this particular array is heavy on the over-$500 price point -- COUGH COUGH -- but I'm sure these darlings have been duplicated at lower prices for those of us with more earthbound budgets and children who would like to go to college.

Jean, when I thought of you wearing loafers in a way that suits your style, here is what I pictured:

That petrol blue front ruffle blouse that you posted quite a while back when ruffles were feeling not much love here, done in a semi tuck if it works with it, but I think many of your toppers would work well
the slouchy BF jeans you recently posted (worn with Dr. Martens)
and a pair of loafers along the lines in the photo below, but any cool/ironic/funky/classic loafer style would work I think

For some reason I thought of you when I saw this pic, but done more arty than polished.

yeah, I'm in the thanks but no thanks camp And I don't share really the drive to make it work for all styles. That's kind of like finding a way for a tomboy to dig pumps. I mean, they are classic, but not tomboy, ya know?
So you gals rock those looks and I'll be cheering from the sidelines!

EDIT: but never say never, there may be the perfect ones out there for me. I'm just not eager to search and integrate lol

My eyes love #3 but they make my feet ache just looking! 5&6 also really caught my eye.

Here's hoping they filter down to some comfier brands that are within my price points

@ClassicallyCasual: those are apparently by J.W. Anderson, though I can't find them for sale anywhere. Could be in the UK.
