DVF's resort line was just released and of course a new batch of wraps were released. GP, I thought you might like #1. It is a lighter version of the Linda wrap you tried. This is the New Jeanne cut, a modern take on the classic Jeanne cut. I also thought you might like #2. It just reminds me of you and your new found style. #3 is just different and a little weird and I like it for some reason.

Ooh, #3 is probably the hardest to wear, but I like it too. I also dig #1.

I really like the print on #1. Looks very classic. If #3 didn't remind me so much of big crayon clouds, i think I would love it too. My favorite is #2 fom the second set, though. Fun AND classic.

Those are so pretty!

I used to have some large-scale print wrap dresses. I loved them until I saw some photos of myself in them. They made me look huge! They would probably look great on someone with a different body type though.

#3 looks like 70's clouds to me - awesome! Just what I need - to drool over a designer dress. But someday I promised myself I would buy the real deal. Some day. . .

Wow, thank you for sharing those with me DressLover! And thanks for looking out for me! How fun--you're like my DVF dress shopping pal! Or like the stylish big sister I never had! Love it!

I think you're right that I should be looking for bolder prints so #1 is out. #2 is very pretty but I have an Anthro dress that is somewhat similar already. #3 is so very cool with the graphic clouds and I love #4 too (#1 in the second set), although I wonder if the light blue and green colors would work with my coloring or not. I liked #5 from afar, but when I clicked on the closeup I had to laugh...it looks like she was attacked by a flock of chickens! Tee hee! Great picks though!

I had a look at the DVF website and here were a couple more that caught my eye as well:
1. Ahadahy--although that's wool too like the Linda dress
2. Blaine--silk jersey shirtdress. Covered in hearts! Oh I love this! If only it were red and black I'd be all over this in one red hot minute. Do you know anything about this dress style? I'm only hesitating because I have several black & white dresses already and not sure if the all-over hearts are too cutesy for work.

Natalie, always happy to help, especially with something I have some knowledge in. I think it is funny you said #5 looks like chicken feet because the name of the print is Birdy.

As for the Blaine, it is a newer cut. DVF has done shirt dresses for a long time though and they are always nice. Fit is sometimes harder since you can adjust it to your measurements like a wrap though.

Hold out for a black and red wrap. She does them all the time. #1 is one of my favorite red and black prints called Scribble Tweed Red. It looks like an abstract animal print and is a fun twist of stripes and tweed. #2 I thought you might like - lip print.

Oh, what fun prints! The cloud print reminds me of the cartoon sky in the opening of 'The Simpsons'!

DVF had a navy and cream ginkgo print a few years ago that I still wish I'd bought:)

I have that #2 lip print -- it's one of my husband's favorite dresses. The fit is a little awkward in the shoulders with that one for some reason, but I've never gotten a tailor to look at it.

Oh and I love that navy and white gingko print dress you mentioned.
