BJ - I didn't know that. A family friend did the construction of the Bata Shoe Museum; did you know that it's designed to look like a shoe box with the lid slightly askew? http://www.mtarch.com/mtabsm.html
I just bought a pair of Fluevogs in the Chicago store. I can't wait to wear them! They are a little tame compared to most of their shoes, but my practical side won out. If you're ever in Chicago, it's a very cool store located in an old theater.
VAncouver has at least 2 stores. One of them is amazing - it's also John Fluevog's workshop in the loft area. As stunning as his creations. I love the shoes.
I love their shoes! I've never owned a pair, but I've been ogling everything in their store for years - just can't commit.
Sihaya - I need to check it out next time I am in Vancouver.
I used to have my office a block away from one of the Vancouver Fluvog stores and was always in there admiring those shoes. They are still so beautiful! Perhaps a pair is in my future....
