Planning to wear a short black cocktail dress and hot pink satin pumps. No tan yet. 80 degrees. Musyt I waer hose? If yes - off-black or nude?

Oh, sorry - knee length. Empire shape, shirred at the bust (but not bulky, thank goodness, since I am amply endowed), spaghetti straps. I have tatoos on my upper chest and across my shoulder to my R shoulder blade, and the plain dress shows them off without their looking gaudy. Sorry, no pictures. I'm 5'4 (if you don't count the shoes!), size 10-12 on bottom, L-XL on top - broad-shouldered, no waist to speak of )- just a big triangle. Slender legs, and the shoes are plain and adorable - sort od remind me of Minnie Mouse. I have a small beaded bag and a pretty black wrap with some sparkle. Just the hose have me stimied!

i don't mind bare pale legs at all (mine look like that all year round:-), and 80 degrees is warm enough to leave off the hose I think, even at a dressy party? I'm sure more knowledgeable ladies will chime in soon.

I think no hose is great, unless you have colourful legs like mine, then hose makes everything prettier and smoother.

I hate to wear hose so I vote for no hose. I know it's supposed to be coming back in style but to me it looks very dated. 80 degrees seems plenty warm to go without it. If you are worried about pale legs you could put some self-tanner on, but I don't have a problem with white legs. The black dress and pink shoes sounds like a fun outfit!

No hose. If you want to dress up your legs, see if you have a slightly shimmery lotion or a bronzer to mix with some lotion and smooth it on. Have fun!
