Thank you very much Nikki, Runcarla, Suz, Kkards, Rachy, Angie and Lisa!
Runcarla, that is one of my favorite jackets as well.
Kkards, actually there are less double breasted ones than it appears: three are single-breasted, three are true double breasted, while two (both VB Diego jackets) are "fake" double breasted - there are two rows of buttons for the look, but there is only a single functional button in middle. But generally, yes, I think that double breasted jackets have been trending the last couple of years.
Angie, I am not surprised at all that one is your favorite.
Lisa, you are so right - I cannot wait for life to go back to normal for so many reasons, and wearing normal clothes is not the top one, but certainly one of the more important ones.
The backstory to start of my obsession is tied to the beginning of my new /office job back in summer of 2017. The first year I got the suit #8, then #7 at the beginning of year 2, and found myself wearing them all the time, either as a full suit or separates. It became a common occurrence that I wanted to wear them but they were either at the dry cleaner's or there was a more important occasion coming in couple of days so I chose to save them for then. In contrast , I have classic conservative black and navy suits, and those were/are useful for occasions that required them, but those were far less frequent then the former.
